They both jumped down as Samuel resumed escorting wolves to the entrance. People were already waiting for them when they arrived and they were just as much shocked looking at Samuel interacting with wolves so casually, it's like he was a official member of their pack. Unbeknownst to him, he gained more fame after this incident which meant more notoriety among the local kids!

He entered the small area that connected to the enclosure and sat down. The wolves hurdles around him and he spent about and hour cuddling and petting them. He also asked them not to do that again and stay inside the forest for the time being.

He especially focused on Luna because she was the leader, she was also needy always tackling others to the side to get to her favorite seat: his lap. By the time he was done, the sun was glaring in the sky.

He watched them disappear inside the forest before coming out to meet Daniel and Peter who were waiting for him.

" They really act like bunch of puppies which I didn't expect from them." Daniel commented. He wasn't much knowledgeable about wolves but he had heard horror stories of people being followed for days and some of them didn't even make it back.

" I need to call my people to study all the footage. We also have to build monuments around the whole estate celebrating first friendship between wolves and human in decades!" Peter had other plans.

" I really don't think that's necessary. There are many people out there living solitary life with them."

" Bullshit! Even if they did, they always had to know their place if wolves start being aggressive but with them, they seemed to act like you are their leader or something."

That's when it hit Samuel, they really were acting quite docile around him. Maybe his aura made them submit to him and see him as someone stronger than them? Wouldn't that mean they would constantly keep coming to him in the future? He shook his head thinking about such absurd things. How could any man be their leader? It was impossible!

Beside wolves were loyal to their partners till death. Luna and Titan seemed to have something going on. With how she would smack him around, she seemed to be the boss in the relationship.

Sage and Knight were clearly a couple since they did everything together while Darius and Nova seemed to be working through some issues but without any other competitor hopefully he would be able to woe her in the future.

There was no place for someone like Samuel in the pack right? He kept telling him this while shoving his alarming thoughts at the back of his head.

Peter on the other hand kept going on and on telling him about his plan. He didn't even care if he was listening or not.

" Alright, alright. Do as you like, just don't try to get closer to them. No matter how they look, they will attack you because you have that look."

" What look?"

" Scammer? Shady? I don't know, someone that want something from others."

" You bastard! It seems like me going easy on you really gassed up your ego!"

" Easy? I wasn't even using ten percent of my power!"

" Let's settle this once-"

" Stop! We don't have time for this mess. You go back and explain to Uncle what happened here. I already informed Grandpa Arthur before coming here but they would want to hear it from you. The official caretaker of this sanctuary!" Daniel got in between before the fight broke out. He told off Peter made him known that no matter how wolves got out, it was on him.

" And you! Go back home and get yourself clean. You stink!" Samuel received the same treatment but there was nothing he could fault him for. He not only fend off against the wolves but also made friends with them and even helped transport them back to the forest.

There was no telling what would happen if he wasn't there. They would be chasing the wolves around the estate or in the worst case scenario, had to put them down for security reasons.

" Wait! Wouldn't it be more important for him to be there? He could explain it better than me!" Peter protested. There was no chance he was going to go there alone.

" Look at him. He must be tired since he barely got any sleep."

" Ughh.." Samuel looked like a mess.

Samuel shrugged and started walking out. Daniel offered to drop him off but he declined saying he could get a good morning by walking.

It took him few minutes of jogging before he reached home and saw that Nicole was already up. As soon as she saw him, she bowed and said," I am s-sorry. I heard that you have to carry me upstairs." Continue the experience at m-vl-em-pyr

" It's fine. You are not that heavy so don't worry about it." He saw her cleaning up the house. Most of the furniture in the living room was destroyed so they had change it up but for now, he sat down on one of the recliner that wasn't badly damaged.

" Nicole.." he called out to her which made her tense up. She knew what he was going to discuss.

" Young master!" Fortunately for her, Amanda came downstairs with his phone in hand.

" Your phone has been ringing for some time now. It must be important." He was puzzled. It was rare for anyone to call him this early in the morning.

" What about Adele and Mayra?"

" They are still sleeping. They were the ones to ask me to bring it to you." Samuel chuckled, they were so frightened earlier, how did they even manage to fall asleep after that incident?

" Alright." He took the phone and saw that it was Abigail that called him.

There were quite a lot of missed calls too which was concerning. He dialed back to hear her yelling at him for not picking up the phone.

" I am sorry. I was busy exercising?"

" Why do I feel like you are lying to me right now?"

" That's just your imagination. What's up? Did something happen?"

" Yes, I wouldn't have disturb you if you just check your mails regularly. I know it's holiday season but there are some deals that can't wait until it's over."

" Alright, I will be there today. You can tell me then if it's not extra important now."

" Are you sure? I can send people to your house. They only need your signature.."

" No, it's been some time since I looked into everything. I will be there."
