Chapter 100: Chapter 100: Off to the Next Adventure



[3rd POV]

"Gwen...what in the world was that" Bolin was the first to ask, causing her to smile.

"Me dealing with Vaatu. You won't have to worry about him causing problems, nor will you need to worry about him corrupting anymore spirits or anything else. He'll be a force for good now, I promise" Gwen replied.

"So what, you're like a...Dark Avatar now?" Mako asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I was thinking something like "Yin Avatar" and Korra would be the "Yang Avatar" sounds cool, doesn't it? She'd be the Yang to my Yin, and I'd be the Yin to her Yang" Gwen replied with a smile, causing Korra to look at her.

"And those Lords of...Chaos and Order?" Mako asked.

"Think of them as unique, and immensely powerful spirits, ones that have bonded permanently to me. I use their power. Just like how Vaatu will be doing the same from now on" Gwen answered, causing them to just look at her.

"You're actually crazy, you know that?" Korra asked, looking her in the eyes causing Gwen to just smirk.

Before speaking again, Gwen stopped and smiled at the sight of Tenzin and the group walking towards them, Jinora in tow.

"Is-is it done?" Tenzin asked, causing them all to look at Gwen who smiled.

"It's done. Vaatu is now safely held within me, and I have become the Yin Avatar. This way he doesn't die, and we can maybe do some good with his power. Unalaq is unconscious over there, and will be easy enough to deal with" Gwen replied, causing Tenzin to let out a relieved sigh.

"All that is left to do is for Korra to undo the linking of the portals, and then to make a decision" Gwen said with a smile.

"Make a decision?" Korra asked, causing Gwen to turn to her.

"Whether or not you want to seal the portals or...to allow spirits and humans to live together once more. And should you do that, then you can expect some...side effects, sizeable ones, but ones that I can help you deal with" Gwen explained, causing them all to look to her. "How could you deal with the side effects of such a thing? It would be spread throughout the world!" Tenzin exclaimed, causing Gwen to look at him, before smiling softly.

"Remember when I said that all will be revealed? Well...here's a bit more to be revealed" Gwen said, before breathing in deeply. A deep glow began to emanate out of her being, as a myriad of colors began to rotate around her form, as it slowly began to warp and change. Horns growing out of her head, her hands warping into something different, as slowly, she reverted back into her true form.

The group look at her with wide eyes as she smied at them "This is my real form, Tenzin. When I stated that I am just a firebender, I lied" Gwen said, before stomping a singular foot on the ground, earth raising, then she rotated and made a fluid motion as water raised, and finally, air billowed around her, as the group watched with wide eyes.

"I'm not a spirit, before you ask. Well...not completely. I am...a lot of things, a combination of so many species that you wouldn't know more than perhaps 2 or 3 of them. And with that comes a lot of power, power that I can use to not only help deal with the after effects, but also allows me to travel to other...places" Gwen said.

"What sort of places?" Jinora asked, looking at Gwen in awe.

"Other worlds. Worlds completely different than this one. Worlds where no one bends, and yet they have technology beyond your wildest dreams. Worlds where monsters rain supreme. Worlds where beings can fight and do more than any normal person, using something called magic, an art similar to bending, and yet very different" Gwen explained, as they all breathed in deeply.

"Wow this is...kind of mindblowing!" Bolin exclaimed.

"And...you are from one of these other worlds?" Korra asked, looking at Gwen. She didn't look hurt but...interested?

"I am. Just as Artemis is, just as Raven is, and just as M'gann is" Gwen said, before M'gann breathed deeply as her skin changed.

"I'm what's called a White Martian. A sort of species from our world or universe. I can do things like this" M'gann said, before lifting a nearby rock with telekinesis.

"All done through my mind"

"I can use magic, the art that Gwen spoke of"

"And I am but a regular human who's a badass in martial arts" Artemis said with a shrug, causing Gwen to chuckle.

"You're going to travel to another world, aren't you?" Korra asked, as she sighed.

"We are. But...I was planning on helping you out and dealing with some unfinished business before leaving. And...I was going to ask if you wanted to come with me"

"But the av-" "Tenzin, I am very very very powerful when it comes to things related to spirits, souls, and magic. Trust me when I say that I have a method that will allow the Avatar to continue existing"

"What sort of method?" Mako asked.

"I use some of my...abilities to sever a small fraction of Raava and leave that within Korra. The rest would then be reborn and continued to Avatar cycle. The fraction that is connected to Korra would grow far more powerful, just like Vaatu. For every universe we travel to, new changes will occur within it, ones that even I don't know of" Gwen explained, causing Korra to look her in the eyes.

"...I'll do it" Korra said with no hesitation, Gwen looked at her in confusion.

"But-" "I'm coming with you and that's final" "But why? You'll be leaving behind your-"

Growling in annoyance, Korra marched forward, gripped Gwen by her collar, and slammed her lips against Gwen's. The group went wide eyed at this, while the girls smirked, M'gann and Artemis passed some money to Raven.

"Because I'm in love with you, you idiot" Korra said, looking her in the eyes while Gwen just stared.

"...Can I get seconds? Because that was amazing" Gwen said with a teasing smirk, causing Korra to blush before pecking her on the lips once.

"...I suppose I can allow this, but Korra will have to speak with her parents first. But...for now,

I believe it best we deal with this first" Tenzin said, struggling not to smile softly at the happiness that Korra showed, and the way she leaned slightly into Gwen.

Looking around, Gwen smiled as she thought.

'Next world is 100% going to be all dates and love. Cause I have been an awful girlfriend'

[Months later]

The next process was an...easy one, surprisingly.

Korra had undone the linking of the portals, and had decided on keeping them open.

Gwen had used a mixture of magic, jujutsu, and several other arts to sever Raava as she had said, leaving Korra with a small piece, and yet one with more potential than ever before. The other Raava was reborn into a young boy in the Earth Kingdom, a boy that would take the mantle from Korra, once he was of age.

Thanks to the spirit portal opening, certain...side effects began to occur, ones that Gwen took care of expertly. Through a mixture of talking with the spirits who really really liked her (she was basically royalty to them) and some talks with humans that Korra and Tenzin had dealt

with.

Gwen made sure to take care of some other...problems. For one, she sent out the clones to get rid of the Red Lotus, for they would cause too many problems, and would become a serious

threat.

She then used a bit of...less moral arts to change the Earth Queen for the better. As if she just...changed one day. A change that would bring about a new age for the Earth Kingdom. New airbenders were awakening during this time, with Gwen giving Tenzin all the help he needed to find and recruit as many as possible, which would become the rebirth of the Air Temples, and the Air Nation as a whole.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

She and Korra had went out on several dates, but hadn't went all the way just yet. For Gwen decided that the next world would be the one that she'd focus entirely on simply...enjoying life, and less on growing in power. The girls would get all her attention as they rightly deserved, and she'd be able to just enjoy some hobbies from her first life, like reading,

gaming, and art.

Throughout these months, she had completed...all her quests for this world...literally.

[New Age] Details - Create a new Avatar, while allowing Korra to keep the powers of Raava.

Details - Turn someone into a master bender.

Reward - 60 NL Tickets (15 per person, M'gann, Raven, Artemis, and Bolin)

[Spiritual Harmony]

Details - Help the spirits understand humans, and humans understand spirits, beginning a

new age of harmony between the two.

[Completionist]

Details - Complete all quests in the Avatar World.

And with all the completions of these quests, her multiverse travel had been unlocked once more. And she decided that it was time to leave, and time for the next adventure.

At the moment, she stood next to her girlfriends, Korra having just gotten done hugging her

parents goodbye, for they had allowed her to leave with them, once knowing that no matter how long passes, only 1 year will pass for them.

Standing with them by her sides, she smiled at the group "See you all in one year" She spoke,

as they all smiled and waved, as Gwen spoke within her mind.

'System...begin world travel'

[Beginning world travel]

Smiling as she began to glow, Gwen had one final thought on her mind as she disappeared

from the world of Avatar, and away from the world she had been within for nearly an entire

year.

'Off to the next adventure'

I sorta rushed it because...I was done with this world to be honest, and it would have been a

timeskip either way, even if I made another chapter out of it.

Korra and Gwen are together now, but they still need to grow truly close, so dates will be

happening in the next world, as it will basically be a slice of life arc. She'll still have some

action, and genuine challenges in the form of special new quests that will be unveiled next

volume.
