Chapter 3353: Chen Yuan Is Back
Aunt Chen walked to the door and mechanically took out her keys from her bag, preparing to open the door. Then, she remembered asking Chen Yuan's classmate to deliver food to her husband last night. The lock had long been broken.
Silently, she stuffed the keys back into her bag and pushed open the old steel door of the house.

Aunt Chen dragged her tired body into the house and tried her best to sound normal. "I'm back. Last night, you..."
Before she could finish her sentence, she saw someone in the living room whom she had not seen for almost three months. She stood rooted to the ground and rubbed her eyes to confirm she was not hallucinating.
Aunt Chen then mumbled, "Y-Yuan Yuan?"
Chen Yuan helped Uncle Chen to the living room for breakfast.
The fragrance of porridge wafted out of the kitchen. Chen Yuan even specially peeled an egg for Uncle Chen and placed it in a bowl. Only then did he get up and wipe his hands with a piece of paper. Then, he looked at his mother.
"I'll scoop some rice for you. Do you want eggs?" He looked as natural as when he came back during the school vacation. He wiped his hands and said, "Go wash your hands first. You can eat when you come out."
Aunt Chen's feet seemed to weigh a thousand pounds, and she could not move from her spot. She watched as Chen Yuan entered the kitchen and brought her a bowl of rice.
Finally returning to her senses, she thought of something and anxiously grabbed Chen Yuan's arm. "You didn't tell Nian Nian, right?"
Chen Yuan wasn't angry at her. He slowly placed the food on the table and patted the back of her hand comfortingly. "Don't worry, I didn't say anything."
"That's good." Aunt Chen heaved a sigh of relief.
Chen Yuan looked at her loosened hand and suppressed his anger. He lowered his voice and asked her, "Mom, you can tell me what happened now, right?"
"Well..."
Aunt Chen's heart, which had just relaxed, rose to her throat again. Her eyes flickered as she subconsciously looked at Chen Yuan. His eyes were dark as he waited for her explanation.
Aunt Chen knew her son was stubborn. She sighed and told him that someone had come to look for them yesterday and threatened them.
She then told Chen Yuan about everything that happened at the stall in the afternoon. Someone claimed to have eaten something wrong at her stall. Aunt Chen kneaded the corner of her shirt and insisted, "The issue with the customer from last night should be a coincidence. I've already explained it to them. The police have also come. We just have to wait for the final investigation results."
Chen Yuan was so angry that he sneered. He looked at her deeply and suppressed the depression in his chest. "Mom, do you really think what happened with the customer last night was a coincidence?"
"If it's not a coincidence, what else could it be..." Aunt Chen immediately looked away.
Then, not wanting Chen Yuan to continue pursuing the matter, she pushed him inside and said, "Don't worry about it. Buy a plane ticket and go back to school in the afternoon. Your father and I will settle it. Don't worry!"
"That's right, Chen Yuan. Listen to your mother! Go back to school in the afternoon. How can a student run home anytime he wants! The teacher will be angry if he finds out." Uncle Chen knew what his wife was thinking.
If she told Chen Yuan that the customer with food poisoning was very likely to have been planted to frame her, the matter would become huge. The other party would definitely not let it go easily.
However, they had made up their minds not to trouble Nian Nian even if they lost all their money. Therefore, the most important thing was to get Chen Yuan to go back to school so that he wouldn't get involved.
Aunt Chen hadn't slept and her eyes were a little red. She forced herself to be energetic, patted his shoulder, and then earnestly said, "Yuan Yuan, listen to your father. Buy a plane ticket in the afternoon."
