"I don't want to make her look like the bad guy," the Prince explained. "I just don't want people gossiping about her behind her back."

With his explanation, Jerry and Gu Wanyin quickly understood.

He was worried that if he were the one to propose breaking off the engagement, some gossipy people would spread rumors that Janet had been dumped by the Prince.

After all, some people always harbor ill intentions toward young women.

Rather than that, it would be better to let people say that Janet was the one who dumped him.

Besides, he had thick skin and didn't care what others said about him.

"Boss Gu, can you help me?" The Prince looked at Gu Wanyin with pleading eyes.

Gu Wanyin thought that since the Prince had already bought a bumper car worth 6,000 points and brought his soldiers to spend quite a bit, he was a good customer.

Jerry watched their retreating figures and said to Gu Wanyin, "This Prince is quite amusing."

"Indeed," Gu Wanyin smiled. "If all the vampires are eliminated one day and he inherits the throne, he might actually make a good king."

Having promised to help, Gu Wanyin had to follow through.

The next day at noon, when Janet was eating alone in the dining hall, Gu Wanyin sat down across from her with a bowl of fried rice.

"Boss Gu, you're here for lunch too?" Janet greeted her with a smile.

Gu Wanyin nodded with a smile.

When they were both almost finished eating, Gu Wanyin asked, "Where's Joshua? Why isn't she having lunch with you?"

"She's taking care of Bruno. Bruno's been feeling much better lately, and she wanted to help him take a walk in the garden. I was hungry, so I came to get something to eat first."

"I see," Gu Wanyin said. "You came here alone initially, but now you've made good friends and even found your fiancé. You must feel more at ease now."

Gu Wanyin wanted to test if Janet truly had no feelings for the Prince.

This way, she could better approach the topic of breaking off the engagement.

No matter what, she didn't want to hurt Janet's feelings.

At the mention of the Prince, Janet's expression became complicated.

She put down her chopsticks and said mysteriously to Gu Wanyin, "Boss Gu, if possible, I'd like to ask for your help with something."

"What is it?" Gu Wanyin asked.

"I notice you seem quite close with the Prince now. Could you please help me tell him that I'd like our engagement to be nullified?"

"Maybe he just wants to be prepared," Gu Wanyin smiled. "I'm not familiar with your customs here, but how about you write two copies of an agreement to break off the engagement, then you both sign them and each keep a copy?"

Janet took action immediately.

She quickly returned to her room, got paper and pen, and wrote two copies of the agreement to break off the engagement.

Then, she went to find the Prince.

The silly Prince was currently polishing his Fourth Egg.

Although the Fourth Egg was newly bought and still very clean without any dirt, the Prince insisted on making it shine.

Some soldiers offered to help him polish it, but he firmly refused.

His Second Egg and Third Egg were tied up in the courtyard.

When he saw Gu Wanyin approaching, the Prince excitedly showed off: "Look, Boss Gu! Isn't my Fourth Egg clean?"

"Very clean," Gu Wanyin said perfunctorily.

Then she added, "Janet has written the agreement to break off the engagement. Take a look, and if there's no problem, just sign it."

The Prince hadn't expected Gu Wanyin to be so efficient.

He happily took the agreement and pen from Janet.

Then with two quick strokes, he signed his name.

"You didn't even read it," Janet's eyes widened. "Aren't you afraid I might have written something strange in the agreement?"

Although she hadn't written anything strange, just that they were breaking off their engagement and that it would be permanently void, with both parties free to marry whoever they choose.

But still, the Prince shouldn't sign without even reading it.

"No need to read!" The Prince waved his hand dismissively, returning one copy to Janet while keeping the other, "I've known you for so many years, don't I know what kind of person you are?"

Janet smiled and said nothing more, carefully putting away the agreement.

"Even though we've broken off our engagement, I still consider you a friend," the Prince added. "In the future, when my soldiers and I go out to hunt vampires, you can come with us. Don't you need to find things to exchange for points too? Going with us will be less dangerous."

Janet thought about it, realizing that staying alive and earning more points were indeed the priorities now.

There was no need to be overly sensitive about reducing contact with her former fiancé.

So she nodded and asked, "Can I bring my two friends along?"

"Of course, I have so many soldiers. Adding you three won't be a problem at all."

"Thank you."

After Janet left, the Prince asked Gu Wanyin to show him the various weapons sold in the hotel.

"And the last one is for you? What if you're not accurate?"

The Prince puffed out his chest: "How could I possibly not be accurate!"
