Apocalypse: The Hotel She Runs Is the Only Paradise

Prince and Fourth Egg spent some cozy time together, but suddenly, his stomach let out a loud growl.

Gu Wanyin and the soldiers all heard it clearly.

The usually goofy Prince blushed slightly, a rare moment of embarrassment.

"Ahem," the Prince coughed, pretending nothing had happened.

He asked Gu Wanyin, "Um, where can I find some food around here?"

"I'll take you to the restaurant," Gu Wanyin said. "But first, park Fourth Egg in the parking lot over there."

Since the Prince had purchased Fourth Egg, he was now allowed to use the guest parking lot.

As the first person to buy a bumper car, he got to choose his parking spot first.

"Take your pick from all these spots," Gu Wanyin said.

The Prince wasn't picky about parking spaces and chose a spot on the edge.

"What if more people buy bumper cars and they all park here? How do we avoid mix-ups?" the Prince asked.

After all, there were multiple bumper cars of the same color, and they all looked identical.

"Don't worry," Gu Wanyin said. "Look up."

The Prince looked up and saw a transparent screen appear in front of Fourth Egg.

The screen not only displayed the Prince's photo but also his identity information, just like the info on the room card.

"This parking spot now belongs to you. If someone confuses your car, it will alert them. And only the owner can ride in it," Gu Wanyin explained.

"What if I want to give this car to one of my subordinates later?"

"Just come to me to complete the transfer procedure."

"I see," the Prince said, stroking his chin and looking at the screen. "This portrait is quite lifelike, but I think it doesn't quite capture my handsomeness."

Gu Wanyin: "..."

Soon, Gu Wanyin led the Prince and the soldiers to the restaurant.

Just then, Janet and Joshua were also dining in the restaurant.

Janet smiled and greeted Gu Wanyin, but her expression changed when she saw the Prince behind her.

"Your Highness, you're here too?"

The Prince was also surprised to see Janet: "Miss Janet?"

"You two know each other?" Gu Wanyin asked.

"It's alright," Janet said with a faint smile. "This Prince is actually my fiancé."

"Oh?" Gu Wanyin was a bit surprised.

Janet was the daughter of a duke, and her father was said to hold a high position.

Joshua and Janet were close friends, so she naturally felt the need to defend her.

Even though she knew the man in front of her was a prince, she couldn't help but speak out.

"Don't be upset," Janet said, patting her head. "Look, I'm fine now."

In truth, she had never placed her hopes on the Prince, so she wasn't angry or disappointed.

Their engagement was purely the decision of the king and the duke.

One of the soldiers behind the Prince seemed about to defend him.

But before he could speak, the Prince himself couldn't hold back.

"I did come to find you!" the Prince said bitterly. "After leaving the palace with my soldiers, I went to your house, but it was a mess and no one was there! That's why I left!"

"You came to find me?" Janet was taken aback.

"Of course! I'm a prince! Even though I... ahem, I wouldn't be so irresponsible, would I?"

After all, she was his fiancée in name.

He felt that as a man, he couldn't just abandon Janet.

"I searched for you for a long time after that!"

Both Janet and Joshua were stunned.

Then, Joshua whispered to Janet, "It seems this prince isn't so bad after all."

Janet nodded and said to the Prince, "We misunderstood. I'm sorry, and thank you for coming to find me."

The Prince turned his head haughtily, then rubbed his stomach and asked Gu Wanyin, "Where can I buy food, Gu? I'm starving."

Gu Wanyin snapped out of her gossiping mode and led the Prince and the soldiers to the food vending machines, showing them how to use them.

On the way, Gu Wanyin said to the Prince, "You're not so bad, kid. You've got some responsibility."

They were now familiar with each other, so there was no need to be overly polite.

"Of course, I'm a prince," the Prince said proudly.

However, he seemed to think of something and frowned.

Only when Gu Wanyin started explaining the machines did he shift his attention.

"It's simple like this. Do you all get it?"

The soldiers nodded.

The Prince went straight to the machine.

He swiped his card and bought a two-meat-one-vegetable set meal.

"Little Wang, I haven't finished explaining yet," Gu Wanyin said helplessly.

"I'm a prince, not Little Wang," the Prince protested.

"Oh right, I forgot," Gu Wanyin slapped her forehead. "I was going to tell you that besides the food in the restaurant, there's a blind box machine in the hotel lobby where you can buy various snacks and small dishes. You might find something you like there."

"It's fine! I'm starving, I need to eat first," the Prince said.

He let the soldiers choose their own meals and then found a table to sit down with his set meal.

He had bought sweet and sour pork ribs, beef stew with potatoes, and spicy cabbage. The aroma was making him drool.

Seeing that Janet and Joshua hadn't finished their meal yet, he hesitated and chose a table far from them.

Joshua looked at Janet with concern, but seeing that Janet truly didn't care, she relaxed.
