On the 20th floor, Yao Ran had already packed most of her and Long Yu's belongings into her space, leaving only a few supplies in the corridor. After she finished moving her supplies to the corridor, she went to help Deng Qiqi and Huang Zhihui.

Old Han replied, "Miss Yao, I'd like to follow you and your friends when you guys leave. This bracelet is my payment."

Yao Ran frowned slightly when she heard his request. While she didn't mind helping them by selling water to them, letting them join her group was another matter.

Seeing that she was silent, Old Han quickly added, "We will follow from a distance. We won't disturb you or ask for protection."

"We?" Yao Ran asked. "Who is 'we'?"

Old Han hesitated before replying, "The other survivors also want to follow your group."

Realizing he was their representative, Yao Ran thought for a moment and said, "You can follow us, but as you said, we are not responsible for your safety. You must gather your own supplies, protect your families, and keep up with us on your own."

Old Han had expected this and agreed. "Understood."

Yao Ran stepped forward, took the box from him, and added, "If the others want to follow us, they will need to pay up."

Hearing this, Old Han felt relieved and nodded, "I understand. Miss Yao, when will you be leaving?"

"When my friends return." She replied, not specifying a time.

After getting what he wanted, Old Han went back to prepare. He informed the other building managers of Yao Ran's terms and then sent them off.

Though some survivors grumbled and were dissatisfied with Yao Ran's terms, they knew that they had no option and returned to prepare something valuable to offer Yao Ran in exchange for the chance to follow them.

After watching them walk out of the Ling Yuan apartment complex, Yao Ran looked at Huang Zhihui and Deng Qiqi and said, "Let's move the supplies to the truck."

Huang Zhihui replied, "Elder Sister Yao Ran, I will move the supplies with Qiqi while you guard the trucks."

Before leaving, Long Yu and the others had driven the trucks and bus to the underground parking lot so it would be easier for Yao Ran and the others to load their supplies.

When they arrived in the underground parking lot, Yao Ran saw a few men trying to pry open the truck doors.

Before the men noticed them, Yao Ran calmly took a gun from her backpack. She released the safety pin, aimed at their legs, and pulled the trigger.

Three men screamed in pain and fell to the dirty ground while the others froze in shock. Seeing the blood of their teammates staining the ground red, they were trembling with fear. "You dare?!" The bald man shouted, enraged.

Yao Ran chuckled and coldly said, "You will see if I dare or not."
